Optical Filters

Filters are used to shape the spectral response or to control the transmittance of an optical system. We offer a range of filters including bandpass filters, long pass and short pass filters, heat control filters and neutral density filters.  We have a wide selection of standard filters but if you don't see what you are looking for please contact us anyway.

Here are some of the main products we offer (click on the links for details and datasheets):

Bandpass Interference Filters - thin film, narrow band, Fabry-Perot cavity filters.

Bandpass Glass Filters - coloured glass filters with broad bandwidth.

Long and Short Pass Filters - thin film edge filters with a sharp cut-off.

Long Pass Glass Filters - absorbing glass edge filters to limit the visible or UV transmittance.

Hot and Cold Mirrors - thin film filters which either reflect or transmit infra red.

Absorptive Heat Control Filters - visible transmitting glass filters which absorb infra-red.

Colour Separation Filters - filters which transmit the primary and secondary colours.

Reflective Neutral Density Filters - metallic coated filters with a neutral transmittance across the visible.

Absorptive Neutral Density Filters - glass filters which absorb visible light with reasonable neutrality.
