Terms and Conditions of Sale

Orders will be accepted by phone, fax or email on provision of a purchase order number.  If confirming an order previously placed by another means please state ‘Confirming Order’.

Cancellation of orders will incur a termination charge of at least 10% of the order value up to and including the full cost incurred by Optarius up to the time of cancellation.

Prices quoted to European customers are applicable throughout the EU and normally valid for 60 days from the date of quotation.  However, we reserve the right to change prices in the event of a significant change in the prevailing exchange rate or other circumstances outside our control.

Export prices and terms to destinations outside the EU will be quoted individually on request.

Terms of payment are cash in advance or Net 30 days with prior credit approval.  We accept payment by cheque, electronic transfer, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Electron, Switch, Solo or PayPal.  We will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if we are not paid according to agreed credit terms.

Shipment means are by common carrier at the discretion of Optarius. We offer express courier delivery on request.  Shipping and Handling charges will be added to all orders.

Value Added Tax will be charged when appropriate.  European customers outside the UK are asked to provide their VAT registration number when ordering.

Technical information and specifications are provided for your guidance but we cannot accept responsibility for the suitability of any product for a particular application.

Warranty is provided for all goods against defects in material and workmanship for 30 days after delivery.  Defective goods will be replaced or repaired at our discretion.  Please contact us for approval and shipping address prior to returning goods under warranty.
